Gartner predicts spending on enhancing detection and response capabilities will be a key priority for security buyers through 2020. “Organizations are looking to improve real-time threat detection and incident response capabilities; however, they often struggle to invest limited resources in the required people, processes and technology.” [1]

In this discussion, Fishtech (CYDERES) will share it's vision for moving organizations from traditional prevention based security models to a position capable of responding quickly to advanced threats in near real time. This discussion will explore leveraging DevOps and cloud technologies to augment human expertise by automating the collection, enrichment, post-processing of telemetry and events across technology independent platforms. Additionally, we will dive deeper into specific tools and techniques (many open source) used to remotely collect telemetry and respond to events on endpoint devices across the enterprise
