Sophos is on the front lines of Ransomware defense on a constant basis, and our theme for this session is “BlackCat Turned BlueHat”.  You’ll learn some of the trends we’re seeing in this threat space, and we’ll discuss best practices for ransomware prevention as outlined from an unlikely source – the attacker himself.  In partnership with Hosket Ulen Insurance Solutions, we’ll also review cyber insurance coverage and the most important factors insurers are reviewing when determining a company’s risk and rates.

Brian Cunningham – Sr. Sales Engineer, Sophos - Brian started his IT career at CompuServe in the mid-90’s and has been in Sales Engineering for carriers, resellers, and vendors since 2000.   He has worked with customers big and small across North America and has been with Sophos since 2020 covering the state of Ohio.

Dan Faltisco, Sr. Sales Engineer, Sophos - Dan has been in IT since joining the Army in 1997, and in a security consulting capacity since 2011.  He has been helping partners and customers in the Ohio Valley/Great Lakes region at Sophos since 2020.

Andy Katzenmoyer, Client Relationship Leader, Hosket Ulen Insurance– Andy is a former All-American and Butkus Award-winning linebacker who was a first-round draft pick out of Ohio State in 1999.  After his NFL career was cut short by an injury, he spent his time helping others achieve their goals by coaching youth sports, helping athletes and adults achieve their fitness goals, and now by providing solutions for their insurance needs.
